Candidate for Congressional District 20 and formerly occupying the seat.
Candidate for Congressional District 20 and formerly occupying the seat. @sheilacherfilusmccormick had a lot say to @janeytate & @papakeith about why she should get her seat back. As Congresswoman Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick, I've dedicated the last five years to ensuring our district thrives. For too long, we lacked representation, with 117 years of silence. In 1992, I stepped in to change that. My mission? Economic justice. I focused on bringing resources to our community, ensuring that black nonprofits, business owners, and colleges received the support they deserve. Cultural competency is key! When our leaders reflect our community, we unlock true potential. It's about creating jobs and fostering a workforce that excels. I want to continue this journey with you - Sheila Tag someone who needs to hear this! #EconomicJustice #CommunityEmpowerment #CulturalCompetency #BlackRepresentation #SheilaCherfilusMcCormick
