Episode 2 of Everyday Places with Aly 🩷 Connection doesn’t start with having all the answers. It starts with being willing to be honest. This week, I sat down with Doug Meijer to talk about something that isn’t always easy to practice: vulnerability. The truth is, when we allow ourselves to be seen, we give others permission to do the same. Strength isn’t pretending everything is okay. Sometimes strength is saying, “I’m struggling,” “I need help,” or simply, “Can we talk?” Those moments of openness create the kind of connection that reminds us we’re never as alone as we think we are. My hope is that this conversation encourages you to reach out, listen a little longer, or share a little more of your own story.
