Gary, Indiana, has Keith Lee’s attention. As residents continue to deal with widespread power outages more than a week after severe storms tore through Northwest Indiana, Keith Lee announced he’s bringing his Midwest food tour to Gary — but this stop is about more than food. Lee says he’s coming with supplies and plans to hold a community relief event Monday (August 24) for residents in need. The announcement comes as Gary residents have spent days using social media to document conditions on the ground and call for more attention to what their community is facing.
