Grateful and honored to be invited to the U.S.

Grateful and honored to be invited to the U.S. Department of the Interior’s premiere of “Scales of Success: The Triumph of the American Alligator,” celebrating one of the greatest conservation success stories in American history during America’s 250th Anniversary. The American alligator is a true American Hero; from creating gator holes that provide water and refuge for other wildlife during the dry season, to carving pathways through the Everglades, alligators help entire ecosystems survive and thrive. I was incredibly proud to represent Gatorland Global and be a part of the conversation moving forward, speaking with people from the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, the U.S. Department of the Interior, wildlife managers, conservation organizations, and others dedicated to protecting America’s wildlife and natural resources. At Gatorland, we get to share the alligators people know and love with millions of guests while teaching why these animals are so important. Education is conservation, and I am proud that our work reaches far beyond the park and into conservation efforts around the world. I also visited the Marine Corps War Memorial at Iwo Jima. As a United States Marine Corps veteran, that moment meant so much to me. I thought about my father, my grandfather, and the many members of my family who have served our country. 🇺🇸🐊 #AmericanAlligator #alligator #GatorlandGlobal #conservation
