HE ADMITTED HE WAS WITH KEESHAE JACOBS WHEN SHE DIED. HE ADMITTED DISPOSING OF HER BODY. BUT HE DID NOT ADMIT TO KILLING HER. Keeshae was 21 when she disappeared from Richmond, Virginia, in September 2016. She was extremely close to her family. Keeshae and her mother, Toni, spoke throughout the day, every day. The night she disappeared, Keeshae told her mother she was going to a friend’s house and would be home the following morning. Around 11 p.m., she texted to say she had arrived safely. She never came home. Investigators later found some of Keeshae’s blood inside the Church Hill home she had visited that night. But her remains were never recovered, and investigators could not determine how she died. Nearly eight years later, Otis Tucker told investigators he had been with Keeshae when she died and admitted disposing of her body. He claimed she died from an overdose, but without Keeshae’s remains, there has been no autopsy to establish her cause of death. Tucker was granted certain legal protections for the statements he provided and has never been charged with causing Keeshae’s death. Prosecutors have also disclosed that another person investigated in the case could not be eliminated as a suspect. 🎧 In this episode of Hunting 4 Answers, we examine a case where investigators finally learned part of what happened, but where some of the most important questions remain unanswered. Keeshae is still missing. Her family is still waiting to bring her home.
