If you’re from Philly, chances are you’ve started your morning with @riseandgrindam . For 14 years, it was our city’s morning soundtrack, becoming a daily listening tradition for many of us. Today in @phlcouncil , I was honored to welcome the voices behind the magic, @muthaknows and @mikey_dredd . They joined us as I introduced a Resolution recognizing and honoring the Rise and Grind Morning Show for its lasting contributions to radio and the cultural fabric of the City of Philadelphia after 14 years on air. I am so thankful that we could take the time to give them their flowers for all the mornings they woke us up and helped us stay connected as a city. 💙
