I’ve been there, afraid to speak out because I thought I’d lose my job. Then, I lost it anyway for staying silent, go figure. Too often, people, especially women, get treated unfairly because those in power know we depend on these very jobs to survive. Well guess what, this Latina pivoted quietly two years ago, and once I healed, I became UNMUTED. Now I’m using my voice to empower others not to be afraid. Because silence never told the full story.
