Moving is exciting and kinda hard ❤️🩹 It’s been one year of living in ATL. Making friends who aren’t just acquaintances in my 30s is surprisingly hard as a former FOMO-fueled social butterfly. But I’m def not the only one who came out of 2021 with a newfound social anxiety on top of my general anxiety 🙄 I’m grateful to have a research obsessed husband who found me the perfect bike (hey bestie @aventon) to get me outside more. I’m also learning that a bike helps me explore Atlanta in a more intimate way than driving. Always having a book on me has also become my social armor to read in a park or at a bar as I’m slowly getting back to my yapping-with-strangers self. And be real with me rn, are you still dealing with post-covid social anxiety? 😵💫
