PNW HISTORY MADE IN THE 503!
PNW HISTORY MADE IN THE 503! Today, the @back2besatv on @fox13seattle team was honored to be inside Portland City Hall to document a monumental milestone for Northwest Hip Hop culture. We stood witness as the City of Portland officially proclaimed November 30 as DJ OG One Day! At Back2Besa on FOX 13 Seattle, our mission is clear: there is no distance too far in the Pacific Northwest that we won’t travel to uplift our people, celebrate our legends, and tell our own stories. David “DJ OG One” Jackson (@djogone) is a true cultural architect who has spent 33 years pouring into the community. Whether he is setting the energy for his 19th season as the official DJ of the Portland Trail Blazers or building the decade-long legacy of PDX Hip Hop Week, his impact is unmatched. Most importantly, his resilience after battling Stage 3 colorectal cancer and his “B.E. F.L.U.I.D.” philosophy (Faith, Love, Unwavering, Intentional, Determined) serve as a masterclass in leadership. We are incredibly proud of our brother for getting his flowers today. His legacy is a win for the entire region! 💐 📺 COMING SOON: We’re bringing you the exclusive behind-the-scenes look and the full story of this historic day. Make sure you’re locked in to Back2Besa on FOX 13 Seattle in the coming weeks! #Back2Besa #FOX13Seattle #DJOGOneDay #PDXHipHop #BesaGordon
