Some wedding dress details while we wait for professional pictures of our Puerto Rico elopement! I wanted to Ricki-fy my dress a bit with added details that I felt were meaningful and fun. Shout out to @thatonetimei for the idea to add brooches! I spent months curating the perfect mix and scouring the internet for them. A sea turtle for AJ’s favorite sea creature, a jellyfish for mine. The cosmic stars for our love of the sky. The abalone stone that looks like the ocean water and has AJ’s favorite colors. The purple silver brooch with my favorite colors. The locket of our baby pictures. Baby Ricki + Baby AJ grew up and fell in love! Having my Ama’s brooch was a perfect accident. I found it while going through my Poppi’s stuff with him recently. My dad told me she used to wear it to work with the baby picture of me in it. I found an artist on Etsy who does watercolor pictures of flowers, downloaded her PDFs of the flowers and put them together in canva for the picture inside. Each of our parents have their birth flower in there. A way to keep them with us on our elopement day. ♥️ #weddingdress #brooches #dressdetails #elopement
