The San Diego Spirit and Unity in September 2001. This is a quick video of the making of the Jeff and Jer, Star 100.7, San Diego Human Flag! This is how San Diego looked in 2001. We wanted to support the first responders at Ground Zero and remember and honor the souls lost on 9-11. On Saturday September 22, we needed 1,000 people to show up. We didn't get 1,000....over 50,000 showed up. Many were parked on the freeway honking their horns with pride! As we reflect on 25 years since 9-11, this was the spirit of San Diego. Thank you to Wayne Brubaker for making this video! Thank you to Eric Mabrey for lining everyone up like a marching band.
