This past holiday I had a staycation while I’m trying to work on my businesses @thenourishspotbk opening any day now, and @coffeeupliftspeople (available at @target so please support!) I also have this brownstone I purchased over 3 years ago, naively believing it would be finished in 6-9 months with renovations. Dealing with issues I could have never predicted ended up costing way more and taking way longer than I could have ever imagined BUT I still feel beyond blessed. I can’t wait to talk about the setbacks, the interior designer who still won’t return the deposit he owes me so my lawyer is involved now, and other tribulations I can discuss once I get through it. In the meantime here’s what is happening with the parlor floor complete with renderings (these are not real YET!) I did meet and work with some phenomenal people along the way and I will post that in the next couple of months as I document the installations and finishing touches. I’m on a strict budget until I can complete renovations so it’s a dry January for real 😅
