UPDATE - Charlie Kirk Shooting A suspect is reportedly in custody following the shooting of political activist Charlie Kirk. Officials say a gunman fired a single shot which apparently struck Kirk in the neck. It happened about 20-minutes into a q-and-a session with students at Utah Valley University, immediately after a question related to mass shootings and transgenders who have been involved with mass shootings. Eyewitnesses say after Kirk was shot he slumped to the ground. There is no word on how seriously he was injured. A short time ago President Trump made a statement asking for prayers for the conservative media personality. Hundreds of people were in attendance at a rally near Provo, Utah and the crowd immediately began scattering. The 31-year-old Kirk is closely linked to young conservatives and frequently meets with students on college campuses as part of his “Turning Point” tour of rallies. #Breaking #News #Update #Prayer #Alert #Charlie #Kirk
