Very cool honor bestowed upon 94 HJY’s legendary morning show duo, Paul and Al, during their final broadcast yesterday as they chuckle off into retirement. Local stand-up comedian, radio vet, and all-around really funny and cool guy, Tom Stewart @tomstewartcomedy who is also Executive Director of the Rhode Island Comedy Hall of Fame, used his awesome comedic authority to instantly and officially induct Paul Fuller and Al Matthews into the @ri_comedy_hall_of_fame. So, to anyone who’s ever said to Paul and Al, “you guys aren’t funny,” they can now flash their legal RICHOF certificates at you and, backed by RI comedy law itself, and proudly tell you to “SUCK IT!” And there’s NOTHING you can do about it, you BINDLESTIFFS! Thank you, Tom, for your persistence and dedication to recognize Paul & Al’s 36 years of contributions to the RI comedy scene and beyond! #comedy #radio #induction #halloffame
