🚨 Virginia DUI story gets… unbelievably weird. Police say a 43-year-old Charlottesville woman hit a police cruiser with her Mini Cooper and was later taken to jail on suspicion of DUI. Then came the breath test. According to the officer’s report, she asked to use the bathroom and allegedly scooped water from the toilet, which contained urine, and drank it in an apparent attempt to interfere with the required pre-test observation period. 🤢 Did it work? Nope. Police simply restarted the observation period. The subsequent test registered 0.26, more than three times Virginia’s 0.08 legal limit. She later pleaded guilty to second-offense DUI and hit-and-run, according to recent reporting.
