What an amazing time! 🌸✨ I truly enjoyed sitting down with @tess1tess2 and @ernieontv for such a beautiful, real, and meaningful conversation. I had the opportunity to share parts of my story—surviving an abusive marriage, finding myself again, healing, and ultimately turning some of the most painful chapters of my life into purpose. I also talked about my book, And Don’t Forget to Pray, where I share my journey and some of the experiences that shaped the woman I am today. Writing that book became part of my healing, but I knew my purpose couldn’t stop with just telling my story. 🙏🏽💕 That purpose grew into The Healing Garden 🌱, a community centered around healing, self-love, growth, and creating a space for women to heal, grow, and bloom. And through my nonprofit, Planted Not Buried, I’m able to put that purpose into action—supporting women, children, and families throughout Houston and continuing the community work that has always been so close to my heart. ❤️ I absolutely loved this conversation—the energy, the laughs, and simply being able to speak from my heart.
