When youre a little kid, big dreams never seem impossible. The whole world is your oyster and nothing is out of reach…🌎🪐 - Last night, I watched as one of those “impossible” dreams came true for my OG baby boy. 🥹 - Months ago it was announced that Messi would be playing @dcunited on our home field and Lyric told me how amazing it would be to see them play. Naturally that swung my mama bear heart into motion to try and make this happen for him. But then I looked at the tickets and my heart sank. 😞 - I said to him “Buddy, I’ll do anything I can to make this happen for you but I can’t promise anything.” Lyric and I have a pact that I never promise anything I can’t deliver. That afternoon one of my OG #WeGotThisArmy messaged me the press release and I said with some defeat that I didn’t know if I could swing it. He said with a ton of conviction, “Im manifesting that this is happening. Lyric is going to go to that game”. ⚽️🏟️ - Fast forward to Friday afternoon when he told me he had Lyric’s very belated Christmas present and asked what we were doing Saturday…😳 - Pretty safe to say that I had to redo my lashes after that conversation. He told me he won tickets…and was giving them to us 😭 - The connections Ive made with listeners that have truly become family over the years means everything in the world to me. Not just for the love and support they have shown me through thick and thin, but for the love they have extended to my little boys. With all of my heart and soul, THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
