๐Ÿšจ MARYLAND JUST CHANGED THE RULES.

๐Ÿšจ MARYLAND JUST CHANGED THE RULES. Cash. Groceries. Speed cameras. Rent. Police. Even the snow on your car. Nearly 300 new Maryland laws take effect October 1, and some could change things you do every day. Hereโ€™s what you need to know ๐Ÿ‘‡ ๐Ÿ’ต CASH: Many retailers selling essentials must accept cash for purchases under $300. ๐Ÿ›’ GROCERIES: Large grocers canโ€™t use your personal data to charge you a higher price. ๐Ÿš— OUT-OF-STATE TAGS: Maryland residents improperly using them could face warnings and eventually daily fines. ๐Ÿ“ธ SPEED CAMERAS: More enforcement is coming to designated high-risk state highways, with higher fines for higher speeds. ๐Ÿ‘ฎ POLICE ID: On-duty officers generally canโ€™t conceal their faces and must display identification, with exceptions. ๐Ÿ  RENTERS: New protections cover criminal-history screening, housing subsidies and positive rent reporting. โ„๏ธ APARTMENT AC: Certain rentals must be capable of staying at 80ยฐ or cooler during summer. ๐Ÿš™ SNOW & ICE: Drivers must make a reasonable effort to clear dangerous snow and ice from their vehicles. ๐Ÿ“ฒ Live in Maryland? SAVE this. SHARE it with somebody who needs to know.
